Some events have happened between me and my bf’s sibling that have made me feel uncomfortable around them. Every time I’m around, I feel disliked by them. I feel like the sibling doesn’t like the fact that I’m dating their brother.

I don’t know my boyfriend’s siblings that well, but I despise his parents. They’re manipulative, controlling, emotionally abusive, and they hate me (for literally no reason at all except that their son is interested in me). I recently met them for the first time and they were SUPER rude to me and had clearly decided that it wasn’t worth making the effort to even get to know me. So, yeah. As somebody else said, you’re dating the boy, not his family. I see nothing wrong with it.🤷‍♀️
Just be civil and try to keep everything peaceful. But you don’t have to love THEM.

I love my SO sister but I don’t respect who she is as a person. She’s very selfish and treats their parents like an ATM. But I love her because he loves her and I learned to just always stay respectful towards them to keep the peace. No use in creating drama with the family.
