Doctor has gave the go ahead at 3 months but I'm a little nervous

3 months is too early. Current recommendation is 6 months, but definitely no earlier than 4 months as their digestive system isn’t mature enough before then

You should find a new doctor. Not to sound mean, but yours sounds like an idiot. Both the AAP and the WHO both recommend waiting until 6 months. Some pediatricians will give the go-ahead at 4 months, but it's an outdated recommendation. You still have a while until it's time to start solids.

Wow please get a new doctor. Most major health organizations currently recommend waiting until 6 months to introduce anything other than breastmilk or formula. There are no benefits to starting before then, only risks that are sometimes not known until later in life. Babies also need to be developmentally ready, not just age
