Girllllll, I spent a year of my life thinking I was going to be in a relationship with a close family friend. We talked almost daily on Snapchat (he lives 5 hours away but we had bees on his farm so we visited often) , until things began getting dry. Oh my lord it hurt me so bad whenever he stopped caring. I would spill my heart to him and tell him how I felt about him and how much he hurt me by only talking to me when it was good for him . All he done was laugh and say “but we’re not dating so what does it matter “ . I wasted a whole year of my life , so many tears , and so much valuable time just to find out that for 6 months of the time he was talking to another girl, and even dating her. This was about 2 years ago, and he’s now married to the girl. We kept our Snapchat streak up for a while, until I just couldn’t handle it anymore. We still occasionally talk , and catch up on our relationships , but my heart still goes out to him. I will forever have a soft spot for his stupid ass. Moral of the story, no guy or Snapchat streak is worth the pain you’re going to have to endure. Wether you were just friends, or talking romantically . Please save yourself so much sorrow and just be happy for you.
