When is it best to publicly announce pregnancy?

I'm 9.5 weeks and I'm dying to tell everyone (other than my fam who already knows). We've already seen a healthy heartbeat. Is it too soon?

Unfortunately, a healthy heart beat doesn’t ensure a healthy pregnancy. I chose to wait until 14 weeks. But there is no ‘safe zone’ for pregnancy. Anything can happen at any time. It’s up to you when you want to tell people.

Announce whenever you feel comfortable. I personally wait until the first trimester screening results are back at around 12 weeks. I had a missed miscarriage and didn’t find out until around 12 weeks so it’s just a very personal choice for me to have waited to announce with all my babies.

So I’ve been pregnant three times. 
The first time we told family right away and announced publicly at 12 weeks.
The second time we told family right away and had a miscarriage at 7 weeks. I have never really announced that experience.
This time we told family right away and announced publicly at 21 weeks after finding out the gender. Currently 29+1 🌈❤️
For me personally, I am so glad my family (and best friend) knew early so they could support me through everything (healthy pregnancies and our loss). I think for me the miscarriage would have been a lot harder to handle if I felt I had to announce we lost our baby to the world. I couldn’t have handled the extra attention on our loss and I’m thankful I was able to grieve and share when I was/when I am ready. 
That being said, it’s a really personal decision. Most pregnancies go on to be healthy, happy ones. If you feel comfortable in announcing at this stage, I say go for it. Whatever is going to happen, will happen anyway whether you announce or not so waiting just for the sake of waiting is silly.

Whenever your ready if your ready now go for it! I hate how our society makes us TERRIFIED to annouce early. I know I was. I ended up announcing at 11 weeks and I'm about 15 weeks.

We won’t be saying anything publicly about being pregnant until after the anatomy scan. With our first, we announced to our friends on facebook around 13 weeks! It’s an exciting time.

Whenever you feel comfortable! I always wait until 12 weeks to announce. I watched my sister go through a miscarriage and constantly be asked how the pregnancy was going and breaking down in tears. She told everyone at 5 weeks and just seemed miserable every time someone would bring it up.
