So I’ve been talking to a guy for about 5/6 months and we live about 5 hours away from each other, and a month after we started talking, he came to see me and he was my first kiss and first cuddle etc. And so he said that he wasn’t ready for a relationship, which is okay, I respect that, and it was just coming up to our exams so we were both a little stressed but we still talked every day. Fast forward to New Years, I was away with my friend and went to see him for a night and we went out to Dinner that night and he mentioned that his mum would be leaving the day I was and that he would be home alone, and would love it if I stayed another night with him but it turned out his mum wasn’t leaving that day but the offer was there. And then when I was driving him home, he asked if I wanted to meet his mum.

And so now I’m home and I said to him yesterday that I was telling myself that is going out was a date and he said ‘that was the idea’.

He going to university an hour away from where I am next month so, do you think that he’s wanting to wait until he’s up here to make a move? Or am I being strung along and getting my hopes up for nothing?
