When I was younger I had leukemia, and was told it probably wouldn’t affect my fertility(was told this by the oncologist).

So, I went to the OBGYN before my husband and I started TTC to make sure everything was good to go and the OBGYN didn’t seem phased by this at all(weird??) and told me to still try for 6-12 months and then come back if nothing happened. Should she have done any testing right away to make sure or is that still normal to tell people even with my kind of history ???
