I’m a RN, work 12 hr shifts on my feet constantly and rarely time to eat and didn’t ask for any. Worked until over 39 weeks

In my first pregnancy I was working as a vet tech. It’s a physical job, long days and lots of after hours - got stuck working a 21 hour shift once when I was 26 weeks (long story but was too late by the time I realised I was going to be there all night it was already 2am and no one else was on call). After that incident I put my foot down, said I wanted to take one day unpaid parental leave off a week until I went on maternity leave (in the country I live in we are entitled to 10 days unpaid parental “special” leave while pregnant) and if called in after hours I only wanted to work an extra 3 hours that day, so I needed a second on call each night/weekend I was on call. That was for the last 10 weeks of work and I’m glad I put baby first as I was getting seriously over worked.

I told my coworkers that I would not room the patient with exposure to pneumonic plague, because it's highly contagious and  I was 8 months pregnant. Other than that not a single thing. Pregnancy is not a disability, it is a chosen condition.

None, I work at a desk and the desks at my job are automatic so if you feel the need to stand up you can press this button and the whole desk will move up so you can stand and still work. I didn’t have to ask for that though they give it to everyone 🤷🏾‍♀️

I'm a children's therapist in community mental health which means that I'm usually out at schools seeing kiddos for sessions, in the office doing intakes, and running an after-school therapy class for kids (mine were ages 8-12). At 17 weeks I had a HBP scare and my supervisor let me pass my class to a new therapist as it's definitely the most stressful part (most of the kids are diagnosed severe ADHD, ODD, or ASD) and I had a few in my class that I wouldn't have put it past them to kick me in the stomach if they got upset. At third trimester I passed my school caseload to another therapist because it was getting harder to get around and my supervisor did not want me going into the schools with flu season starting. So I stuck with doing intakes and in-office therapy until my leave started.

I’m set up at a manufacturing company. I haven’t really requested anything yet, but I was told not to climb machines anymore by work 🙄(makes sense in theory but is one of the easier things I do)

I didn’t request anything specifically but I got pretty particular about taking my regular breaks (two 15 mins and a 30 month unpaid lunch) during my 8.5 hour shift. I am an RN working on my feet all day.

30 weeks, I work at a non profit for women and children. Part of my job is to go into the community and educate, the other part is general office work and see clients for counseling. We also sort through donations and other things. I requested at 25 weeks to be taken off donations because it was hurting my back, and my daughter will be coming to work with me until she’s 6 months old so I requested a closed door office for breastfeeding, otherwise I’d never get any work done when I come back after my six weeks of maternity leave.
