Baby shower for baby #2?

My son is 13 months and  husband doesnt think we should have another baby shower for the 2nd kid... opinions?
What are you ladies going to do?

We had one for our second but our first was three and we had just moved across country and gotten rid of alllllll of our baby stuff! But now pregnant with our third our second is only two and we still have most of what we need so we won’t have a baby shower but we’ve been considering a diaper party or something to just celebrate the baby

It all depends on you. I have to have one because my first child is 4years old. If it was the same gender and I only had a 13 month old child, I’d wait to see the sex first to determine whether or not to have another shower

We won’t have one, my son will have just turned two and we have everything we need. Maybe have a sprinkle or sip and see if you want to celebrate this baby in a similar way?

It’s been 10 years since I had my Daughter, safe to say I don’t have any hand me downs for this baby it’s my boyfriend first baby so we are definitely having a shower more like Party lol it’s going TF down okay !

I had no baby shower for my first or second (my second was adopted) but I had one for my third. He was my first baby with my husband and my first child was 5 years old so I obviously didn’t have any baby stuff left over, plus they’re opposite genders. And my husband’s youngest was 11... still, our baby shower was more of a diaper party. We did a raffle for anyone who brought diapers or wipes, which was most, if not all, of the guests. We’ll be doing a diaper party for this one too. But unless it’s a girl (we’d just need clothes), we’ll be asking guests to just bring diapers and/or wipes because we have plenty of boy things. It’s really up to the parents and what they want. Can never have enough diapers and wipes though. 😉

I’d say if you’re having the opposite gender, MAYBE. And it would have to be a small shower with just family.
