I’m in serious need of some help from some of you amazing decorators! I have a few weeks to pick everything out because my husband took a week vacation in February and I’m going to try to get mostly everything done. I’m not due until May, my shower will be early April, and we are buying all the furniture/bedding/decor ourselves. My husband is a police officer in NYC and also in the Airforce and always has a hectic schedule.

I’ve been searching high and low for nursery decor and I don’t love anything I see. No elephants, Mickey, airplanes or sports. I’d like to pick something practical that could get him through his toddler years.

I’m also open to neutral color bedding and no bedding set. I would do this with more of themed decor.

Our nursery room is about 12x12 with white molding and doors. Here is a picture of our hardwood floors which makes some color combinations a little tough. Willing to paint any color walls - just not anything fancy because painting is not my husbands forte lol
