Up to you- for me yes, i was able to rest and nap while I finished dilating and didnt feel a darn thing. I didnt tear and it was an easier and uneventful labour and birth. Praying it goes just as well this time around should be within a few weeks!! 😊

Just go in with an open mind. You will know what’s right for you in the moment. I asked for one but it failed unfortunately. Delivery was very painful and I wasn’t able to move around anyway because I was in so much pain.

Yes as long as they don’t knock it out again 😂😂 with my second daughter they knocked out redid it an I only numbed from the knees down I felt my whole labor lol but despite that and my hip problems now I would still do it with this one

It’s great at the time but I feel horrible after - not being able to get up to my newborn when she cried :( I was completely immobile for about 8 hours after the birth.

With my son who was facing my hip, my choices were epidural and attempting to manually turn him, epidural was solely to endure the pain, or C Section. My husband had back surgery 8 weeks before I delivered so a C Section was a last resort. So epidural it was and I hated every second of it. With my daughter I willing had it done, my induction was easy and I just went with it. I think it was worth it in the end. However, I feel like it is one of those things that you should decide when you're in that situation. I never thought I would do it and yet here I've done it twice. Be open to your options and make the best decision for you in the end.

YES. Once I was in labour there was no chance I’d make it without the epidural

It’s your personal preference but I had one and loved it. It made the whole birth experience enjoyable for me.

I got it during my first labor, didnt feel anything and slept until it was time to push. I felt like I missed out on a lot. Not being able to enjoy the labor. My second I did get it but it didn’t kick in on time and I gave birth to twins. That ring of fire sure meets the name but I enjoyed every minute of it. I enjoyed having to work them down, I enjoyed doing breathing exercises with my husband, I enjoyed him telling me that I can do it and the support. I felt like a new woman after my twins and I felt so proud.
