Roomate has to go!!

Ok so before I met my husband he would rent out a room in the house to one of his buddies. When I met him one was moving out because he bought his own home. Then one moved in. I had my own home elsewhere so didn't care. Then I sold my home and moved two hours away to live with him. We ended up getting married and he still has his roomate! We have two kids who are crammed in a tiny bedroom while he has his roomate who it a teacher making 90k a year and goes without paying rent on several occasions. He is barely home but I wish he would find another place so that we can put our boys in a bigger bedroom. My husband feels bad to tell him to look for a place but truth is he should care more about our boys. What should I do? I pay bills so I should have the right to say something right?
