Lexapro?

Has anyone in this group depressed or suffer from anxiety and been on the medication lexapro? I've been on it since Nov 2018 and I feel like it's not helping at all.

I don't know. I was on it years ago for anxiety but it just made me not care about anything. Even things I should have cared about.

I was on Lexapro for a year and then switched to Wellbutrin. Lexapro made me gain a lot of weight and I always felt tired, which definitely did not help with my depression. If you don’t think it’s helping, you should talk to your doctor about weaning off of it and starting something else.

It’s the only one that has helped me but everyone is different. You might need a higher dosage or just a new med altogether. It’s a lot of hit and miss looking for something that works.

I’ve been on it two years and it changed my life. I haven’t had any negative side effects, and I’m actually a little scared about whether or not they’ll tell me to stop taking it if I become pregnant.
