Pp periods ??

Sooo this is my 3 period pp and I’m a day late. And I know late periods by a few days are normal. But how long should I wait to test because last time I was a day late I was very positive on a pregnancy test and I’m paranoid. Plus I’ve been extra hungry lately and I’m worried 😦
