I mean, they could do both. I’ve posted about things on here & went to see my doctor about it. I’m pretty sure people post for advice. Not necessarily taking all of it to heart, but listening to what others have to say then decide for themselves on what to do or what it could be. Theirs only so many types of discharge so it’s actually pretty easy to determine what it is though.

I think they should seek medical advice but they may be worried waiting for the appointment and want to hear what others have to say. I’ve never personally done it but it doesn’t bother me when others do

Many girls (especially young ones) aren’t upfront and comfortable with their body let alone going to a doctor to analyze their parts.  In addition, some girls might feel embarrassed or alone but feel comfortable talking about issues on eve. Obviously they know eve is a place to seek advice from experienced people hence i believe it’s okay depending on the seriousness of the situation and I think it is a great form of support.
