Did you or do you ever wake up with leg/calves cramping during the night during your pregnancy

Im near 29 weeks pregnant and over the past couple weeks occasionally throughout the night I wake up with my calves cramping up, 
Im wondering if anyone else has ever gotten this.

Drink a ton of water and eat more bananas.

Take calcium supplements if you’re not already. Prenatals usually don’t have enough calcium in them. A developing baby takes a lot of calcium from your body to build bones and other vital organs. A deficiency in calcium can cause leg cramps.

Yes! Doctor said it was due to dehydration. So drink more water!

I always got them at the end of both pregnancies, it was awful. I'd wake up screaming in pain. Gave my poor SO. Aheart attack a couple times.

Lots of water- it can be dehydration. Calcium magnesium can help too. My friend’s doctor recommended it to her and it worked really well - she doesn’t get leg cramps anymore.
