When will I feel flutters?

Question

What week do you usually feel the baby? Just like flutters, not necessarily full on movement and kicks and such. Also, what do flutters even feel like?!

I felt my first around 16 weeks, but my placenta was in the back so I could feel it a little sooner than some. It feels kind of like someone poking your from the inside, or tracing their finger along your stomach from the inside. It's hard to describe!

I’m pregnant with my first. I felt flutters around 15 weeks which is a little early for most first time moms. It feels like bubbles in your stomach or sometimes a gurgling feeling. It’s very small. My Aunt kind of told me what to look for. I’m 24 weeks now and I get some full on strong kicks now. My little guy is breech and kicks me pretty low.

I had an anterior placenta and still felt flutters around 17-18 weeks with my first, but sometimes this isn’t the case if you have an anterior placenta. When I laid on my back, my husband could see the baby kick at around 19 weeks.

I never felt flutters because I had an anterior placenta. I felt first kick at 19w5d.

I will be 15 weeks tomorrow. I have an anterior placenta, and I’ve felt my baby move on my sides. (They told me I would, but just on my sides). I won’t feel her move in the middle until about 20 weeks.

Depends where the placenta is. If it’s anterior you won’t feel it for. Little longer.

Typically its around 18weeks... some a bit sooner if its their 2nd+ pregnancy....some later, as they mistake the little kicks as a tummy bubble or muscle twitch..
