Gender reveal party or diaper party?

We have an extra large family and lots of friends my husband wants to do a gender reveal party and I would rather find out just the two of us and do a diaper party instead. We both agree that we do not want to have two parties.

I agree diaper party is such a good idea. I had a baby shower and invited guests to bring a pack of diapers to be entered into a raffle to win a prize. No joke didn’t buy diapers for close to 6 months and was able to exchange for size when needed. It was also nice to have a few sizes larger than what she was in so we didn’t have to run out to the store is we realized she needed to size up

Combine the 2 and do a diaper raffel if you look on pinterest there are cute little sayings you can do and it can be optional that way you dont feel bad asking them to bring diapers ? Thats what i plan to do for my baby shower and making it optional 1 package of diapers gets them entered into a raffle for a prize (i will prob do a gift basket type thing or just a giftcard)

You can combine them, or do 2 separate parties! Around here, people usually have a gender reveal, and then closer to baby’s birth, they’ll have a couples diaper party or the mom has a baby shower while the dad has a pamper party!

I wouldn’t do diapers, honestly. You never knows what kind you’ll want or the baby won’t have bad reactions to, and every baby grows at a different rate so they could end up outgrowing whatever size you were gifted.
