Membrane stripping/sweep?

Has anyone had a membrane sweep at 39 weeks???? Did it work? They’re checking me tomorrow to see if I’m dilated so I’m going to ask if they’ll do one.

I’m 39 weeks and getting one today..🤞🏼🤞🏼 i do know a friend who had 2 down at 40 weeks 24 hours apart and went into labour that night after the second one

I had one at 38 weeks and started losing chunks of my mucus plug. I’ll have a repeat sweep this week at 39 weeks. 
My sister-in-law said after her second sweep (with both kids) she went into labor within 2-3 days

39+1 getting it done tomorrow 🤞 crossed it works. My last pregnancy I got it done 2 days later woke up with contractions followed by my waters breaking, on my due date.

Had mine today- 39+1 2cm dilated, membranes bulging. Hope it is soon 🤞🏻

Worked on me ,but I was overdue a few days and I had sex the same night 🙊 waters broke the next day

I had two - one at 38 weeks and one at 39 weeks and I’m 3-4cm dilated.. nothing happened for me😪

Had one done last friday at 39 weeks and it didnt work. It worked with my first 2 though.

I had one yesterday at 39+6 and I was 3cm. No luck here so far!

If you’re dilated enough they will! I’m 40 weeks tomorrow and still only at a 1cm so they still couldn’t sweep mine
