Day 6 Scan

Hi ladies,

Just looking for some support and your experiences....

I’m pretty devastated with our first scan. I only have 1 large follicle on one side and 3 small ones on the other. They added Luveris to my injections hoping to help the other 3 small ones grow. However the nurse expressed a concern that the large follicle could be taking up all the hormones. She also explained that it is unlikely more will grow.

Going back on Friday for another scan where they may cancel and turn this into an

IUI

cycle..

I’m 30 but have a low ovarian reserve. We initially started

IVF

for male factor and will be using ICSI.
