So, I just recently switched my time for me to take my pill and it got me thinking.

Why does it take longer for people to adjust to the new time on the combo pill vs people on the mini pill? I read that people on the combo pill have to continue taking the pill at their new time for 7 days in order to be fully protected, but people on the mini pill only have to wait 48 hours.

What’s the scientific explanation on that?
