When to start testing for ovulation

Question

On what cycle day should I start taking my OPK tests? My cycles are usually about 30 days. 
I don’t want to waste them because I’m overly excited 🥰

What i did my first cycle using ovulation tests is started testing on CD 10 and i tested everyday until i got my spike then tested 2 daya after. The reason i waited until day 10 is because I am on Clomid days 5-9. This month i am waiting until around day 15 or 16 because my spike last cycle was on day 20 and 21.

The day after your period ends to make sure you catch your surge and you can get an average on what day you’ll ovulate monthly then, that’s what I’m doing and I’m on CD17 so far and no surge yet xx
