So I got my iud April 13 2018. I bled for a few weeks nothing heavy or anything. Then I got nothing for a few weeks and ever since then I get my period about every 3 weeks. The first time I had it. Years and years ago I bled for three months straight and never had my period again. Now I still get it and it’s been 9 months. I just don’t want my period anymore. They also last longer they are about 9 days. Has anyone else experienced this. I know everyone is different but the whole point in getting the iud was so I didn’t get my period because they suck. Also if you have experienced this before have your periods eventually stopped. This time getting it was totally different than the last time so I figured I would ask before I talk to my doctor to make sure it is still in the right place.
