So, the fact that I changed my last name to my husband’s last name deeply bothers me. There’s nothing wrong with his last name; in fact, it’s much easier to pronounce and spell, and it’s nice to have the same last name as our kids. But it’s just not me!! I just can’t get used to it. I want my awkward ethnic last name back. Because that’s who I am and that’s the last name I carried through all of my life and all of my achievements. Do I change back? Or is it just my anxiety manifesting itself this way? Ugh I’m really lost.
