Hey guys! On January 5th I had my little girl Stella. We had a rough delivery and when she was born she had issues with breathing she had swallowed a bunch of amniotic fluid into her lungs. Anyways she was on CPAP and she’s off now and just working up on feeds. I’m really struggling with her being there. I’m renting a room in the hospital to be near her and I thought me being present for all her feedings and getting her on the breast often was good and she was doing great. But the nurses are suggesting I don’t come to night feeds to give her a rest and they will just tube her so she can save energy and to start bottling sometimes to save her strength. I feel so defeated I feel like it’s such a huge step back. I just want my girl home.
