Should I become a medical assistant or a nursing assistant?

Answer

Medical assistant is way less stressful. I’ve done both and when I was a medical assistant I didn’t get paid as much as I did in a hospital and in the hospital I got better benefits but I took way more shit and it’s definitely not a job you can work at for 20-30 years. Unless you literally ask for help when lifting patients and lift with your legs which a lot of women use their back and get injured. I just feel like in a medical clinic it’s less of a work load. You may get stuck with 6-12 total care patients in a hospital whereas in a medical clinic your patients come and go and you don’t have to do much for them.
