How early for doppler heartbeats?

Question

How far along do you have to be for hearing the heartbeat on the doppler (not ultrasound just doppler)?  My 10 wk appointment is coming up in a week and a half and I’m hoping to get that reassurance and I don’t remember from my previous pregnancies when they started that. I already had my dating scan so next scan will be 16 weeks and just trying to figure out what midpoint will be my next real reassurance.

I believe I was 10+4 the first time trying and she found it within seconds!

From 7 weeks! At your appointment your midwife should be able to pick up a heartbeat - she’ll prob say don’t worry if can’t as it’s hard to find such a small thing . I had a homeDoppler and could find baby once you know difference in sounds x

You should be able to with how far as long you are but I tv may take them a little while to find.
