Please. Anyone??

Question

Has anyone ever been against abortion but got an abortion because of an unexpected pregnancy?? How did you cope with it? I’m in this situation 😔😔

Plenty of people are against abortion until they find themselves in a crisis pregnancy. You have to do what is best for you and your situation. Sometimes that means not being pregnant. It’s a very hard decision, but sometimes it’s also the best one. 
I was never against abortion. I believed in abortion access and a woman’s choice, but I thought I personally would never make that choice. Five years ago, I was pregnant, and it was neither the time nor the partner for a child. I ended that pregnancy, and it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. It took me awhile afterward to rectify the person who I thought I was (someone who would never have an abortion) with the person I absolutely needed to be (someone who needed to not be pregnant).  Being pregnant is life changing whether that pregnancy results in a child or not. 
I grieved that loss for a year, but I’ve never regretted it. I am thankful everyday that I got to keep living my life and achieving my goals. I might decide to have a kid in the next year or two. If I do, I will be able to give that child a great life in part because I did not have a child when I wasn’t ready. 
If you have decided that ending the pregnancy is the best choice for you, then do it. Take care of yourself, and give yourself time and kindness to process your experience. You will be okay.

I had mine when I already had 2 children, I thought it was the right thing to do at the time as the father assured me it was also. A part of me still regrets it and it gives me a horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach every time I think about it (it was 10 years ago) I’m josh afraid I won’t go to heaven (dk if you believe but I do) 
On the other hand. The father and I were always fighting and having another kid w him would make things so much worse than they already were.. I went on to have 3 more beautiful babies after that and when the timing was better.. I’ll never forget the child I terminated but I think I’ve forgiven myself for what I did enough to know it was right at the time..

People thoughts and feelings on anything change and develop as they go through life.. maybe you were previously anti abortion, but it’s very different when you’re actually the one facing the choice. What use to seem black and white isn’t. 
Find someone you can talk to, a friend, a councillor, a doctor... there is no right answer.
