Did any of your twins measure behind earlier in your pregnancy?

At 10+1 mine were measuring 5 days behind and it makes me worry. Their heartbeats were strong around 160 but still wondering if others experienced the same? Does it happen more often with twins than singles and did your catch up and when? Any insight is greatly appreciated!

I had the same the girl was 4/5 days behind on the boy but eventually she catched up now the boy is 1 day ahead and the girl 1 day behind. They calculate the average aand then it’s still good. Don’t worry they will catch up ❤️❤️

Yea at my 8 week scan they were both measuring on track. I ended up getting the flu that day and day it badly for a week and I can’t help but think maybe it’s possible that threw them off a week by my 10 week scan. Maybe it sounds crazy but it weirdly makes sense to me because they’re both off by the same amount!

I went in at 7w3d and one twin was measuring 7w1d but they are the same size now, and I’m 16w2d. I think one just implanted later than the other

For me one baby has consistently measured right in track and the other baby has been behind. The smaller baby was 6 days behind at 7 weeks and than 4 days behind at 9 weeks. I have a 13 weeks scan on Wednesday and hoping the smaller baby has caught up even more. Fingers crossed!

Mine have been falling behind every few ultrasounds. They measured ahead around 12 weeks by 4 or so days and now last time they were behind 6 & 7 days. They said it’s quite common for twins to fall behind the farther along you get— especially since twins don’t really have their “own” growth chart. They just know where twins tend to fall on the Singleton chart! Unless your Dr shows worry chances are everything is just fine! My first born had IUGR so she measured 2-3 weeks behind at all times. They started worrying when she fell to 4 weeks behind and I was induced! (Singleton) but I’m sure they will catch up! Good luck!!

At about 10 weeks my twins were measuring 6 days behind. Same again at the 12 week scan but having had my 16 week scan 2 weeks ago they had both caught up!
