How early can you see your ultrasound picture?

Hey!
I've noticed a lot of people on here have photos from their early ultrasounds, but so far I have not been given the option to see.
Is it different for people who live in Canada? Or by the area?
I'm so confused!
It states in the room that no photos would be offered until the 18-20 scan..

I got my first one at eight weeks.

If a woman has had a previous miscarriage the hospital will do early scans. I’m in Ireland though.

It's different where you live, in UK you can buy a pic at your 12 week scan.
In USA it seems people can get a picture whenever they want even as early as 4 weeks.

I live in the US. But they printed pictures at my first US (7weeks) and the others I have had. They printed them off the US machine right after they finished

I'm not sure if it's different in Canada specifically, but in the US, you can typically request a photo at any appt they decide to scan you. I got one at 7w, 13w, and 21w, and might get another tomorrow at 35w.
