Technically there is no safe time. Chances of miscarriage go down at the 12/13 week mark but the baby can still pass at anytime unfortunately. If you feel comfortable at 10 weeks then go for it. Your body, your baby, your rules =)

Yes, you're in what's typically considered safe. But if you want a little more reassurance and you're doing the NT, you can wait a few weeks and announce then. I always felt best right after an ultrasound!

You can announce whenever you choose. I know a lot of moms wait till after 12 weeks or the first trimester. We announced to family at 10 weeks with my first and publicly at 15 weeks. We announced to family at 17 weeks with this one and won’t be announcing publicly until she is born. I’m pregnant with my Irish twin. She will be born before my first turns a year old.

We did. We announced at 7 weeks after hearing the heartbeat. Now 16 weeks with a baby girl. But its never "safe". Something could always happen. Even after 12 weeks. Do it when you feel comfortable. But the chance of miscarriage does go down after hearing the heartbeat
