Baby must haves from Newborn-12months?

Question

I am pregnant with our 3rd however I've learned with my previous children that I spent alot on things I didn't really think I needed. For ex: both of my kids had a crib which is nice and all but they ended up co-sleeping with me the majority of the time until they got their toddler beds around 2 years old. So no crib for my 3rd but will buy a bassinet. What are other must haves you believe is necessary?? TiA 😊😊😊

I feel like I bought way too much and only used a handful of things the past year! 
Dr brown bottles 
Tomme tippee pacifiers 
Bassinet 
Sound machine 
Boon grass for drying bottles 
Tummy time mat or gym 
Baby seats for 4plus months 
Bath essentials 
Pack n play 
One thing I wish I had gotten was the dockatot! Easy to move around with you fits in bed and Pack n play can use for diaper changes or on the floor for play really anything! It’s expensive but with everything I didn’t use I could have bought 2!

No but seriously... I bought a bunch of stuff I didn’t need like a crib, bottles (I breastfeed and don’t pump), baby swing (in my defense my first used hers constantly but my son didn’t really care for it), a play mat, all of the toys were basically useless until around 8-9 months but they’re still good to have to try to teach baby.
Really... if you’re trying to keep things simple and uncluttered, just get the essentials. Clothes, diapers, wipes, some burn cloths/receiving blankets, bibs, bottles. Babies really don’t need all of the extra stuff if the parents are willing to constantly attend to them (not saying you will or won’t, I know I don’t, that’s hard to do when you’re cleaning and cooking and caring for other people too).
