Something I've learned is that anything is possible...only way to 100% prevent pregnancy is to not have it lol. Let's be real most people are not abstinent though. Just tell your friend to wait to see if she is late then test to be sure.

It’s possible because the sperm can swim, but she would also have to be in her fertile window so her cm could help the sperm get to the egg.
