If you had a c section in the past, did your first time having sex postpartum hurt?

I had an unplanned c section almost a month ago. My bleeding has stopped and I really miss being intimate with my SO. I'm worried that sex will still hurt because I went through 30 hours of labor and dilated to 7cm before my c section so my cervix might be sensitive? I dont know. I would be grateful for anyone's input thank you!

It doesn’t hurt. I had my second c section 8 weeks ago and Sex is better than ever. Just make sure you are wet/ and or use lube. It burns a TINY bit but that’s it. It gets better !

I had a planned csection and when I was cleared 4 weeks pp I didn't have any pain with sex but be careful with your incesion and don't go too crazy

I went through 36 hours of labor after my water broke and was fully dialated before having my c section. I waited 6 or 7 weeks to have sex after and it didn’t necessarily hurt it was just kind of uncomfortable. So, I would recommend lube and to take your time! Tell him not to shove it in fast, use the lube and work it in slowly and then once it’s in and you’re comfortable get going your desired pace! Good luck 💕
