Gestational Diabetes

I’m 27 weeks and 1 day. And I got my Glucose test done today. I was told that I was on the borderline of Gestational Diabetes. 130.

And I don’t really understand it, I did ask questions but I would feel more comfortable talking about it with other mamas.

My mom said it’s just something that happens with pregnant women.

And this is my 2nd pregnancy and I just am more worrisome that I’ll develop Diabetes.

Anyone of y’all have this said to you before? Or do have it?

Do you believe it’s just changed in hormones?
