Nervous for my appt

I have a prenatal appointment tomorrow and I’m super nervous lol..

I’ll be 36 Weeks so they’ll be doing the GBS swab! I’ve never had anyone go down there, besides my sexual partners but their face wasn’t all up in there ya know. I’m shy about how I look down there, I have “big” labias. Lol ☹️

How quick is this swab done? Should I shower before it or? Shave? lol I’m a nervous wreck..

imagine how self conscious I’m gonna be doing cervical checks and birth!!

Haven’t you had a Pap smear or pelvic exam? It’s just a tiny swan that takes a few seconds. Be warned, they also run the swab over your butthole so don’t be surprised lol. And I promise they aren’t even really looking at your labia.

Uhh you should shower and be clean before EVERY doctor visit. As for shaving that’s up to you, the swab literally takes like 2 seconds.

I mean they see multiple privates a day. I dont think they care how privates look.
