Strange Cycle

Hey all,

I got a Jaydess IUD in March 2017. It was causing a lot of problems with my cycle including a lengthy cycle (40 days) really intense cramping and periods that were heavy and lasted an average of 10 days (the longest was 3w/4d). This led to a minor iron deficiency.

I had my IUD removed December 5th after a period that went from November 20-December 1st. and I haven’t had a period since. I’m not pregnant, every test is negative and I went to my doctor and she did a pee test and then I had an ultrasound. So definitely not pregnant.

Has anyone else here experienced one or more missed cycles after an IUD removal? How long did it take for your body to regulate itself?
