So first of all I had to reschedule my 20 week ultrasound because they just cancelled my appointment without notifying me that was set for dec 31. Fine o went in last week and baby was not cooperating and the tech was able to get all the images except any of the heart. I was told to schedule another one at the hospital today. So today after 2.5 hours with a probe, a tech , a senior tech and an on all couldn’t get baby to flip from the position they were in to get a good view of the heart. I walked, I jumped, I drank cold water and nothing. So I’m being referred for a cardiac echo for this Wednesday because we are leaving on our baby mmoon next Monday. I’m in so much pain, right now my abdomen feels so bruised from so much poking around and the baby was kicking against the probe the whole time. I’m frustrated that we have to go this extra step but I guess it’s worth it to finally know that everything looks good.

Anyone else in this position referred for an echo due to the babies position ?
