Anyone else starting to panic?!

Any other scheduled csection mommas starting to freak out?! I had an emergency csection with my first son a year and a half ago, but I swear I blocked it all out! I’m starting to freak about the pain of the epidural and the recovery pain.... it’s just all getting more real with him being able to come any day now!

Planned section is way better than emergency. Spinal instead of epidural, they gave me a local before they did it and didn't even feel it.  Recovery is easier too if you haven't laboured first

I have anxiety bcuz my doctor wants to do a wound vac for a week & I have no idea what to expect from that. But all in all my pastor told me to keep my mind fixed on positive thoughts & positive things will happen. Dont even allow yourself any negativity!

I had an emergency c section with my first and a repeat with my second, the recovery was 10 times easier with my second. I was up walking around just a couple hours afterwards and I didn’t need any pain meds by the end of the first day. I’m trying for a vba2c this time and kind of nervous, but we can do this! ☺️

A scheduled c-section is completely different from an emergency one.  For one not being in labor for hours helps.  The staff isn’t rushed.  You’re essentially in a controlled environment.

I'm not scheduled for a csection, but freaking about the epidural. My son is 1.5 years and honestly that was the worst pain. I HATED the epidural and am freaking out about having it again
