33+4 weeks... Contraction?

Let me start by saying I'm NOT concerned at all. I feel very comfortable that baby is still safe and healthy.

I do have an appointment next week, but most of the things I bring to my doctor end with the same general response. "it's hard to tell. Everybody's different. It was probably just one of those unexplainable pregnancy things. If you like we can do *some form of monitoring the baby* to check that baby's ok"

I'm just curious if someone else has had this. I'd like to put a name to it if possible.

So yesterday, I had just eaten supper. Then went to Walmart. When I got to Walmart I noticed my uterus was hard all around. I also had to pee so I thought between that, eating, and baby, maybe things were just stuffed tighter than normal? I went to the bathroom but it didn't go away. It did not hurt. I didn't feel like it was becoming exhausted or anything...I mean like if I was weight lifting, my muscles would get tired as I went on....well it didn't do that.

I wasn't monitoring it, really. Just kept poking it as I walked. It lasted between 10-15 minutes maybe? Then it went away and hasn't been back since.

Could that have been Braxton hicks? I thought those repeated and didn't last very long?

What else could cause this?

This is my first baby so I don't know what anything is supposed to feel like yet.
