When did your baby start rolling from back to stomach?

My son is 5 1/2 months and is getting close to rolling from his back to belly but can only get halfway.

My son started rolling tummy to back at only 7 weeks old. He hates being on his belly needless to say. He’s now 2 months old and will get half way from back to tummy so I’m assuming he’ll be rolling that way soon. My first daughter didn’t roll until 4 months and my second daughter was around 3 months. All babies are different and I wouldn’t rush it.

Our daughter was rolling both directions by 3 months.

Every baby is different! My son rolled a handful of times between 5-6 months but never consistently. Then bam! He turned 6.5 months and started rolling daily, every time he was on the floor.

If I put my son on his tummy he hates it. Today he started trying to roll back over into his back and almost succeeded. He just turned 5 months. He doesn’t try to roll from back to tummy yet
