Can of formula not lasting

Ok so we feed my daughter 2-3oz every 3 hours and I was reading that a can of formula is lasting people about a week and my daughter seems to finish a can in 3 days we are on our 3rd can and she’s only been home for a week is that normal? Or am I feeding her way to much...
