Pray- how do you do it ?

Question

When you pray do you say what are you praying for every time you pray or you just say it at the beggining and then every other time  just regular words that are in that prayer without mentioning what you pray for ?

??? Prayer is just talking to God. Talk like you would to a person standing next to you.

I usually try to start by thanking God for different things in my life and then talk to Him about why I’m asking for whatever it is I’m asking for and then ask for it but also ask for His plans to be done. Personally I pray all throughout the day even if it’s just a quick hi and thank you sort of moment.

When ever I pray I pray through out the day. It doesn’t matter if I’m on my way to work, lunch break, alone by myself or what ever I’m doing. Sometimes I pray just to thank and praise him for everything he does for me, to let him know I’m trying my best to do the right thing. Other times I just talk to him, and sometimes I bring my concerns to him.

I thank God first for waking me up and if I have my own family I will include them. I will ask for the Holy Spirit, for guidance and wisdom throughout my day. I praise him and thank him for everything. I repent in my prayers, I ask for God to be with everyone all over the place, if I have a specific prayer for someone or for myself, I will pray it.
