Trouble getting pregnant

Hi! I am in my 20’s and I am a lesbian. My partner and I are trying to conceive but we are having a bit of difficulty. I was tracking my ovulation and it looked like I ovulated twice within my cycle. I am also 3 days late for my period and keep getting negative results. What does this mean?? Please help!!
