This is my second baby and I had a terrible experience with visitors with my son I had people visiting me while I was in active labor and right after delivery for 2 days straight all day and night I barley even got to spend time with my newborn. So now I wish I could actually go without any visitors for weeks besides mines and my fiancé’s immediate family, but to compromise I decided I don’t want any visitors besides me and my Hunnys immediate family until the second day after delivery and just short amount of time! The first night I went home there was literally 30 of my family members at my house 🤦🏻‍♀️I felt like I got taken away so much time with my son I barley even got to hold him. And I told my mom today about this and she straight up laughed at me !! Told me people aren’t going to wait to see the baby everyone is excited and she continued laughing !! Like what !! I told her how horrible it was for me and it’s like a joke to her. She was like yeah we’re gonna send a band to ur room to bother you. Literally I’m compromising 1 day ! She also said ur going to spend all your life with your baby you can wait ??!!! Uh You kidding me smh I’m still going to stand up for my decision and I will defiantly be letting the nurses know to kick anyone out who’s not immediate I don’t care 🤷🏻‍♀️they can wait a day.
