Glass bottles?

I don’t like to use plastic containers and I am somewhat leaning towards trying glass bottles as I am feeding formula. What do you guys think/any recommendations?

I would consider that too, use silicone sleeves to make sure they don't break when they are being dropped.

I used glass bottles with my son and I regretted it. As he got to the point of throwing them and dropping them my fear was always them breaking and him grabbing the glass. My son was very colic and didn’t sleep until he was almost 4 and cried all the time as a first time mom I would get exhausted holding the glass bottle full of milk at night. Maybe they’ve changed in style this was 9 years ago lol.

We used Dr Brown glass bottles, but we put in evenflo balance nipples (didn’t use all the venting stuff that came with the dr Browns).  I exclusively pumped, so the bottles were in heavy rotation. I think three bottles broke over the course of a year. Not that bad. We used 5-6 at a time. At age 1, we have just switched to sippy cups....right now we are using plastic ones - just trying to get the kid used to sippy cups before I try to find some glass or steel options.

I like how glass doesnt leak chemicals but I dont like the idea of it dropping on my baby. We bought como tomo bottles. They're silicone so they're a lot better than plastic. Not quite as good as plastic but they're soft and wont her.

I was originally gonna get glass but I kept seeing almost all of them broke very easily. We decided to go with boon nursh. The bottles are designed in a way that the only thing the milk touches is silicone

I got some Lifefactoty glass bottles based on a friend’s recommendation. They seem pretty well made, but I never actually got to use them because I ended up exclusively breastfeeding.

I haven’t tried them, I use plastic. But I think the glass bottles are neat but when the baby starts holding the bottle by themselves, they could drop it and hurt themselves. That’s why I didn’t go with glass.
