Which week is the placenta formed enough to see on ultrasound to know if they have 1 or if one may have more of the placenta?

I believe they can see starting around 10 weeks whether there’s 1 or 2 placentas. Sometimes there’s no doubt about it but the placentas aren’t fully formed until around 10 for them to confirm if there’s 2 or 1 when they aren’t sure if they are mo/di or di/di. It’s possible it’s 14 weeks that they are fully formed. They weren’t sure with mine but were able to confirm by 10 weeks that they were di/di.

I'm not sure what you're asking exactly. We saw to separate sacs and 2 placentas on ultrasound (they were pretty far apart) at 6 weeks and 6 days.

My doc knew at 7+5

At 8 weeks my doctor thought he saw signs of separate sacs, but was not sure. This was confirmed at 10 weeks. One placenta was confirmed at 12 weeks (but I was already pretty sure based on what I had seen).
