Would you let a 3 month old sleep on their belly?

It’s the only way I can get him to stay asleep on his belly or on his side but mainly his belly he’s 3 months old almost 4 what do you guys think??

Can he roll both ways? If not it’s not safe in case he gets stuck. My LO is 3 months and sleeps on his side sometimes but he can roll pretty well. I always roll him back if he goes to his belly though.

So my son is colicky (super gassy) AND teething.  He loves sleeping on his belly now due to gas and congestion, but he cannot roll yet.  So SADLY, he cannot sleep on his belly if I’m not watching him like a hawk.  He already gets his face “stuck” at times when doing tummy time.

Yeah you should never be putting your LO to sleep on their bellies but if YOU feel comfortable with it then I would say do it. My LO is going to be 10 months old and I’ve been laying him on his belly to sleep since he was about 4 months. It’s the only way he wouldn’t get up every hour at night. I know it wasn’t the right thing by the book to do but I felt comfortable in his ability to move his head back and fourth and we both got a better sleep doing it. I still put him on his belly to go to sleep.
