Hi everyone! For my second pregnancy I’ll be having a scheduled c-section to avoid some of the complications I had with my first pregnancy. I had an emergency c-section with my first, so everything was a blur.

I’m just curious, what should I expect? Will they just give me an epidural and cut into me immediately? Or do they give you drugs/hormones to prepare your body for birth? How long does it normally take from when you’re first admitted until your c-section surgery is over? Does the baby get to stay in the room with you the whole time?
