Braxton Hicks?

Mine stomach tightens and it’s pretty uncomfortable for it feels like 30 mins every time after we have sex. Is that Braxton Hicks? I never had them with my 1st. Lol

So the “contractions” you feel after sex are not the same as the ones you’ll feel as you are nearing labor, nor are they technically Braxton Hicks, but they are normal. Orgasms always cause your uterus to contact, even if you’re not pregnant. That’s why it’s only an old wives tale and not actually proven that sex will induce labor. If that were the case we’d be told not to have it at all during pregnancy.

Yes! Sex can cause uterine contradictions and it’s quite common. Be careful as you get closer to your due date as if you have very strong ones, it can put you into labor!
