He was afraid to tell me he was going to the hospital to get checked but when the doctor told him what it was, he had to come home and tell me.

I plan on getting tested and soon as possible, but we are just full of questions.

Obviously I love him and would never leave him because of this. Hell, he could have gotten it from me and I would never know it. I have never had an outbreak that I'm aware of but who know?!

So he's concerned about passing it to his kids by using the same toilet. Does anyone know if that's possible or not?

How do we continue to have a healthy sex life after this? What if I find out that I do NOT have it? Do I just try my best to prevent getting it and if I do, then I do?

Neither of us really know anything about this and he was in such a shock that he didnt ask his doctor any important questions.

Basically, does anyone living with herpes in a long term relationship have any helpful information??
